Indigenous SPCA works with Indigenous Nations to improve community safety and health by addressing gaps in local animal management systems. Rather than delivering stand-alone services, we support community-led planning, help improve access to veterinary care where it is structurally absent, and work alongside Nations to develop approaches that reflect local governance, priorities, and capacity. Animal-related safety risks are public health issues, and sustainable solutions require systems, not episodic intervention.
